At YOUACU, appointment times are intentionally reserved to provide individualized care, preparation, and healing space for each client. Every appointment involves dedicated practitioner time, room preparation, scheduling coordination, and energetic consideration prior to your arrival. In order to respect both our practitioners’ time and the scheduling needs of other clients, the following cancellation and scheduling policies apply to all services booked through HAD II ACUPUNCTURE PLLC DBA YOUACU.
Deposits & Booking Requirements
A valid credit card is required to be securely held on file for all appointments booked through YOUACU.
YOUACU reserves the right to require a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of booking for select services, extended sessions, memberships, specialty appointments, events, packages, pop ups, same week bookings, or new client visits. Deposits collected will be applied toward the total balance of the scheduled service.
Appointments are not considered confirmed until any required deposit has been successfully processed.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.
This policy applies to all services including acupuncture, bodywork, craniosacral therapy, grooming, herbal consultations, private events, pop ups, and specialty sessions.
Rescheduled appointments moved to another time on the same calendar day as the original appointment may be accommodated without penalty when availability permits and at the sole discretion of YOUACU.
No Shows
Clients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will be considered a no show and charged the full cost of the reserved service.
Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in limitations on future booking privileges or prepayment requirements for future appointments.
Card on File Authorization
By booking an appointment with YOUACU, clients authorize HAD II ACUPUNCTURE PLLC DBA YOUACU to charge the card on file for:
• Required deposits
• Late cancellations
• Missed appointments
• Unpaid balances
• Same day cancellations not covered under policy
• Services rendered
• Outstanding membership or package balances
If a card on file is declined, expired, or otherwise unable to process, the remaining balance must be settled within 72 hours. YOUACU reserves the right to pause future bookings until outstanding balances have been resolved.
Deposits, Packages & Membership Credits
Deposits, packages, memberships, and promotional credits may be forfeited for missed appointments or cancellations made outside the required notice period.
Membership credits and package sessions are intended for active use and may not be redeemed toward canceled or unattended appointments.
Arrival Policy
Clients arriving significantly late may receive a shortened session in order to maintain the schedule for subsequent appointments and practitioners. Full service fees may still apply regardless of shortened treatment time.
If a client arrives too late for treatment to be safely or reasonably completed, the appointment may be considered a late cancellation or no show at the discretion of YOUACU.
Emergencies & Compassionate Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may occur. Exceptions may occasionally be considered on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of YOUACU. Approval of any exception on one occasion does not guarantee future exceptions.
Agreement
By booking and receiving services through YOUACU, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation and scheduling policy. These policies exist to support fairness, practitioner sustainability, and the highest quality care experience for all clients.
